or accredited with using there systems ?
thanks for any relies

Sorry Guys - I'm not an EWI guy....... see if someone else can advise who is good where.

Weber - Flitwick, Bedfordshire
SAS - Exeter, Devon
Alumasc - St Helens
(all do good courses, from the other post.....)

Other system suppliers may do them, but you will have to contact them directly.
There will also be local EWI installers and spreads to you who may take you on for some cheap labour on a job? ask......

im an ewi guy
just do a search on here its been done before i think jfe posted on it, it up to the manufactorer if they want to put you on there course. they will not just put there name to anyone.
as said before on here a course will not teach you a great deal it is mainly theory, you need practical experience im affraid.

AYE

the course is useful, they tell you how to install whatever system you have chosen to learn but that doesn't mean you will be able to install it. hopefully you will. like anything really takes years to get good at and know the specs of the systems inside out. always always recommend getting on site with a firm doing it - it will go far more to getting you good than the course

think of the course as the instruction book (which you can get and read anyway) it aint gonna give you overnight ability and skill but if you can use your trowel and have site experience of the EWI systems then the course becomes more a formality than an education. Wethrby/Krend/SAS do a sort of "pay your money and come along" course, others are only interested in you doing the course if you have a decent amount of work to get on with and may not bother to charge as you are about to spend tens of thoushands on their product. Marmorit have a good course and the lad who does it is good and clued up. some others wont even bother unless you are a firm with a decent client base they can tap into
