Who Would Like A day out with Knauf?

Hi all

I have been talking to @knauf and seeing as there are lots of members who are interested in having a go with the Knauf MP Finish we have organised a day where you can go to the Knauf headquarters and have a play with the plaster

We have 2 dates available and so we need to know availability if you are genuinely interested then please post below and make sure you follow this thread for more information.

The 2 provisional dates are

Wed 4[SUP]th[/SUP] Dec
Wed 18[SUP]th[/SUP] Dec

We can only do one of the dates so we need to know which date is most popular then go from there We are also going to get more information on how many can come along as well

The last trip we did up to the British Gypsum mine was a huge success so I am hopeful that this will be just as good

No I would say not but its a question I will ask

The general plan is get to use MP Finish... it can be hand applied and I know a fair few plasterers that hand apply it

I am awaiting for more details from knauf but need to get dates booked as the centre is filling up...

If you do a formal Knauf training course, you get a certificate of completetion.....

If you want some formal training on Knauf products / systems, have a look at the attached link and contact our office on 01795424499 and ask for the training administrator - Training - Knauf

@Danny will have to see what will be done for this event.

I have no idea what Danny has agreed for this day....... I will find out Monday and be able to answer everyones questions then.

Usually, if there are going to be multiple people coming on a training course, it is set up for a single product and everyone gets to have a go and ask questions....

Why do you ask? is there another Knauf product / system your interested in?

I was just curious as I have already used mp finish, but not mp75. I would still be keen to come along though, and bring two of mine that have little experience of mp finish.

Like I said - let me find the details on Monday......

Showing MP Finish and MP 75 might be tricky as we only have one permanent machine in the training centre that both go through..... so if demo'ing MP Finish (both hand and spray) - showing MP 75 might be tricky....

I'll get back to you (probably call you next week - hows the Aquapanel job gone?)

If this event is a success then we will do one for the north as well.... And yes I will drive from the south to be at that one as well
