>:( How bloody hard is it to get a re- mortgage when you've only been self employed for 8 months!!! some of the rates i'm being offered would make an onion cry :'(
any of you got any advice?

find a tame mortgage adviser, buy him a drink, offer him some cheap work done and let him advise you...theres all kinds off loopholes and sometimes it may just take some 'dodgy' paperwork but when its in the bank they aint gonna do s**t as long as you keep payin...

in fact mortgage advisors/estate agents lurve builders...its a mutually agreeable setup...specially if your confident and a bit handy...should suit you right down, specially roofing..

If i can find one as dodgy as my accountant I'll be laughing ;) Thing is I had credit issues over 3 years ago and I'm still getting punished now >:(
Every time I apply for out a big flashing light goes off and ''Computer says no'' :(
Feck em!!! Now i've got good money and no debt I still can't get a high street mortgage :'

im not 100% sure about all t his mortgage mallarky but someone i knew who was self employed couldnt get a decent mortgage untill he could prove regular income for 2 years, which is fair enough i guess, might just have to hold on for another year or so? :-/

advice ? heres some , when your up to your neck in s**t dont duck if someone throws a turd at your head (always makes me laugh )

i was in the same boat about three years ago when i bought my house, i found this company the londonmortgagecompany and they sorted everything out i didnt fill any forms in all they did was send me out a few blank forms i signed them and they filled them in, i got a really good deal through them it cost about 495 so not expinsive, if you have enough equity in your house then you shouldn,t have a problem at all

We're in desperate need to remortgage we are with northern rock and there interest rates have skyrocketed we are now paying 200 a month more than we were paying 6 months ago as our fixed rate just finished :'(

Just remortgaged with abbey. Was with RBS and fixed rate came to an end. The There was a gap of 17 days between the rbs one ending and abbey starting so had to pay the difference to RBS for the 17 days. The interest alone came to £415!!!
For 17 days!!
