when skimming window walls the beads stick out alot more than the area below the window and around the window cills....... if you no what im mean. should i use bonding the fill the bottom area of the wall below the window..... before skimming. cheers
Depends how bad it is mate. I ain't ever found the need to be honest. If I was you I'd just fill the bead with first coat and then go along it rather than trowelling up to the edge which can give you that crap curve where the plaster gathers. Hope this makes sense....
i know what you mean trowel, but been plastering for 25 years and never been pulled yet?just as long as the rest of the walls are good you should have no probs
Do you know what else is bad about window walls? well when they are finished if they are not perfect when you put your curtains up the light disperses across the back of the curtains and shines right across the wall showing any imperfections like putting a halogen light against the wall this completley sucks
