Winter weather warning

Been flicking through some of these, probably the optimist in me is doubting them all. Is there really any credibility to these long range forecasts? I've never known them to get it right before. I'll be keeping back as many internals as I can just in case

Those weather clowns that predict a week ahead rarely get it right if theres clouds about, a change in wind direction can happen in minutes and throws thier predictions way out !
And I reckon those tv morning weather bints just look outside where they are and think all UK is gonna be the same with wet in west & north and dry in east thrown in for variety

Any 'forecast' for more than a week out is pure guesswork based on models of what happened when the current data matched previous data. Given that the oldest data available only the last 30 years out of 4.5 billion, it doesn't take much to work out how accurate that's going to be. :loco:

Got my eye on the weather atm , Either way I’m hoping for loads of snow come December time

No... Weather man on radio said that tomorrow can be forecast then its a guess the following day and that's it..

Got a lot of outside work atm, so weather's a nuisance.
Got 1400 blocks to lay around 2 semis then cap and render them.

Then prep & render and dash a few like this!

So you can bet it's gonna start pissing down and freezing soon !
But luckily enough inside stocked up to balance things out till the spring .

Laying those 7n blocks below feet/knee level is harsh work on your back.

It's been a right bastad on my arthritis knees But ice packs after work helps cos I won't take pills unless really bad, backs ok after couple days digging out and mixing n concreteing 6 ton all in to footings with my labourer .

Remember you saying before you lay blocks, have you always done them ?

Yep worked with and learned off brickies and other good trades on sites and with family when young before I got the chance to do plastering trade. Build houses, extensions n stuff now and I get to plaster them all myself and work with good team of tradesmen ive used for years . But plastering jobs are my first love.

I find that the worst part is all the turning and swivelling around whilst holding them away from your body.
