When I went there we were 3 teenagers from London working in Dudley for 3 months. The locals were friendly ,they showed us all the funny stuff like the q ball running up the plate rack. Bottle going up the bar. The grandfather clock looked like it six inches out of plumb. And I think we had banks mild about 40p a pint . Stayed in a transport cafe in briefly hill .proper shite hole. But great pub opposite. 4 furnaces. Happy days our kid.
