Got to work this morning to be greeted by the words. "shouldnt take you as long now mate ive done the boarding for you"
Took me 45mins to take out all the steel screws he had used and replace them with drilining ones.
completely replace board that didnt quite catch the joist. but hey its the thought that counts. (Not!!!)
 
Haha, I've been there mate, someone said on here before, can't remember who? "the best person to do the boarding is the person who's plastering the boarding" very true:RpS_thumbsup:
 
Thats a little bit like......the best person to plaster the wall is the person going to paint the wall. ... or so Knauf think

the job im on at the mo the builder is doin the tacking and i would say at least 50% are the wrong way round it even says in big letters plaster other side only ffs

PMSL...its not just builders marra.......the first loft conversion i did for a local joinery company was just like that............maybe its only plasterers that can read

plaster both sides anyway mate
 
yeah im just gonna skim it as it is ive given up telling this firm how things should be before they say "its ready for ya mate" so now its just do what i can with wat im left with for this firm
