hi lads.
things have gone a bit quite in north west,
all i`m hearing is holland and austrialia any veiws on this

i dont think either country does skim work its all tape and jointing there is rendering work but the money is not that good

started my business 3 years ago and i havnt stop working, till now. i've got one more job booked in and thats it think ill hang the tools up, and call it a day

my mate from work has just been round and he's an aussie, apparently they are getting a few probs with interest rates etc but building work has never seen better times
from what ive read on the net wages are the same and on average better plus the cost of living is alot lower
tape jointing and render mate
you only live once and i can think of alot of worse things to do than try and make a start of things in oz

I have been working with a chippy who just came back after 2 years in oz and he said its mint, he said he was earning about £400 a day on price and it was easy work, he mentioned about the plastering and said its completely different over there, the plasterers are the dry liners and pretty much do the whole package, he also said there was alot of sand and cement finishes internally as well, its just a better life all round he also said hes going straight back out there soon as he has sorted out a few problems that he had to come home for : My brother in-law is also out there and has just applied for another 2 year visa as hes been out there for just over a year now and recons its a better life out there as well.

My best mate is off to oz in november hes a fixer/dryliner, ive had the forms filled in for months i just need to get a few references together and i will be applying myself. The wages are similar, dont know about price work prices but its got to be better than here, everyone i know who's been havent got a bad word to say about the place.
