Hi guys
What do you guys use to keep your machines clean ? . Got a sp11 and want to spray it with either silicone or diesel before using it to help stop render sticking to it , making it easier to jet wash off .
My preferable material is weber in the summer months due a a quicker set . Also the client has used weber on a previous elevation so we have to match up
Hi guys
On a job at the moment and the background is quite uneven . Normally I would give a base coat in Ocr before topping with weber pral m.
I've got a load of parex scratch render off other jobs , could I use them as a base coat then top with weber
Yes it looks as if it's the spray pattern , what I carnt understand is straight after the spray it's ruled and the followed up with a spatular . The same application as weber
As render system said , it's the 1st pass that has pulled in too quick before the 2 nd pass . Commonly know as separation . Nothing you can do to put it right unless it's re done
Hi
Normally we are weber users , last couple of jobs we have been using parex and I have noticed a few tiger stripes . Back on weber this week and not a stipe in sight .
Dies anyone know how these are caused ?
Hi guys
dont know about you but we have done well this year for same day scrapes. Today was our last one I think sprayed 80 m2 and just got it scraped and cleaned up for 4.30. Back to over night scrapes till next year
Just sprayed a barn in Pickering , first pass with mesh bedded in second pass flattened in with trowel and spatular. Rubbed up with sponge float . Looks mint
Welcome to the machine world, these thing have a mind of there own sometimes . When there good there good when they go wrong the stress levels go through the roof . See you doctor for ramopril a blood pressure tablet .
stick with it,when you get used to it you will be fine
I have spoke to the customer and he is wanting an inflated quote for the ewi system which would reflect that over 15 years it wouldn't bring recuperated . That should then alow him to get around the problem ( thanks Rigsby )
The customer is very particular ( ex copper) . In my opinion he will have to have the ewi installed to comply with the regs , due to the possible sale of his property in the future .
I will put the ball in his court
Hi guys
priced o job for a customer to knock of old dashing . Apply base coat mesh and acrylic topcoat .
The customer accepted the quote and we got him booked in to start in 4 weeks time.
today he phoned me to ask about a new regulation that states if your house hasn't had the benefit of...
I did one about 8 year ago , I used traditional sand and cement with added fibours bought from a koi supplier . Scratch and top coat then paint with pond paint . When the top cost ha set burn of the fibours with a blow torch before painting . Never had a problem
We're approved , you need to contact weber and they will come out and monitor your work until they are happy with your standard .
no charge involved ,it also depends if they are taking on any more applicators.
Hi rigs
it's a new build 7 newton blocks, no bakes coat just ki in 2 passes 15mm . The first spray we did was a dream , 2nd and 3rd spray had problems on some of the elevations . It seemed to be the elevations that were a little exposed to a breeze .
In my opinion k rend have obviously not done...
It's gets worse !!!!!!!!!!
did another afternoon spray yesterday , and guess what 2 out off 4 elevation badly cracked . Worse than before. Had the rep out but same old story wii have to send sample back to Ireland .
In my opinion k1 doesn't stand up well in windy conditions .
Let me get back...
Used it yesterday on an afternoon spray on 3 gables on a new housing estate. Went this morning to rub down 2 gables were ok only a few cracks . The third one was Badly cracked all over . Think this was more exposed to the wind . Really pissed me off trying to fill them . Looked half decent when...
If he's I any good he should take off the pipe cut a nice clean line with grinder and tape up existing and fill out and rub down . If done correctly should look ok but you always see the joint
Used it myself yesterday . Scraped it down this morning found a few hairline cracks but nothing major. I normally use weber but this contract spec k rend k1 . On the hole thought it was nice to apply and finish
