Thinking of having a bash at ottocento antico velluto and was wondering if any one could shed some light on amounts of coats to put on. And perhaps what the difference might be of applying two coats of ottocento after the paint base coat, instead of one.
Experimentation is key here. you can achieve many difderent results. Product instructions say to use a super colour base then two ottacento coats. I personally think one coat is nicer as the base colour comes through in parts. two coats blocks more base colour. All depends on what colours you go with. Were hopefully going to get chance to play round with many colours soon. Looking forward to dark blue and silver. If you use a dark blue base then a silver coat of ottacento it should grin through nicely and would look different again if you swapped the colours round and based in silver and used blue ottacento. Hope this helps a little
