Bored of drinking

Turmeric ,black pepper, goats milk or just organic, banana and manuka honey at least 10+.
View attachment 15581 Sounds odd combo but is lovely and more to point very good for you.:)

Stopped buying manuka honey once I found out it's a big con. Yes it's good for you but isn't all what it's made out to be. I'm a beekeeper myself and since I got into it, learnt the manuka craze is a massive take on. Something like 1000 ton leaves new Zealand but 5000 ton is sold in UK alone. not exact figers but you get the drift. Don't get me wrong, I like it but stopped buying it because can produce my own just as good.

I got a nutri bullet.
I love it in the summer but find myself making the same one every day....summer fruits and banana.
Need to think out the box a bit.
My other problem is I get bored easily. So I go through phases.
I also need to push myself more in the morning and give myself time to make different ones but I wake up and then snooze again for 10-20 mins then I get no time to make a decent one.
I then end up with a load of fruit and veg gone to waste and resort back to the summer fruits and banana. Back in the boring routine.

What seeds etc do you guys use? I was using chia seeds, coconut flakes, oats, whey powder.

I got a get my s**t sorted and eat/drink healthy this year. I'm tall and slim but getting a gut so look like a starving African with a bloated stomach! [emoji51][emoji15]

Make it up in the evening, chuck it in the fridge....you do lose a tiny bit of goodness that way, but better than not any at all. Lemon juice in a fruity one stops the fruit from oxidising, keeps nicer in the fridge.
Sunflower seeds chai nuts.....spirulina(acquired taste) all go into mine, coconut water for one after strenuous work for the electrolytes. Just started adding protein powder, as we get older we need more protein (found that out recently), helps with muscle recovery, so hopefully my aches and pains will diminish.
Use soya milk if you are worried about fats.

Talking of goodness, have you read the article lately about these juices/smoothies not being as good as they seem?

Apparently the way they blend means we get a super shot of the goodness which isn't as good as it sounds??!! Can't remember where I read it. May be a load of bollucks, they always seem to make something bad of new things!

still got to be healthier than a fry up :D

By juicing stuff you're removing all the fibre. Yes, better thsn a fry up but you're better off just eating healthy whole foods.
That said I firmly believe in a little of what you fancy does good.

Should be eating more raw veg cooking kills the enzymes so much info out there, and there will always be negatives. We live in a monetary system which relies on selling shoite food and shoite drugs to help you when sick from the food!!! Nice money spinner perpetual problem /solution
Diabetes through the roof obese sick weebles wobbling round supermkts stuffing trollies full of processed shoite sugar/fat /sweeteners and preservatives .
Info is all online and sensible diet and exercise staying away from all the shoite makes common sense , not 40+ in a mobility scooter with fat hanging over the edges stuffing crisps n 3litre coke moaning how you can't reach the putrefied Dino turkey puke shapes!!!! In the freezer compartment, fat thick c u n t s!!!

Tremendous. Only thing I'd add is that they then roll themselves into argos to spend money on utter shite, flags and flagpoles for the front garden, Christmas lights and sh1t DVD's from asda. Ooh look at me, just bought the new tom 'I do all the stunts myself' cruise action buster. Then complain about cost of school uniforms. Neanderthal, living and breathing and spilling pie from mouths on the streets of Britain. Always talking about how ill they are, they f**k**g love it, filling doctors surgeries and a&e for sprained fingers. Whetherspoons, 10am breakfasts, wear yer pyjamas, who cares. WHAT THE f**k IS WRONG WITH PEOPLE.

Used to work with a labourer who always reckoned he was big boned. Bricky said yeah, gut and arse bones.

I wouldn't. E putting too many apple seeds or seeds of any other fruit in them they got cyanide in them so u may not feel to healthy for long [emoji23] I find kale and grapes are good ingredients to add in them and advacado

Juice whole veg and fruit to get more into my diet. ordinarily I am not an avid veg fan, kale:confused: spinach,:endesacuerdo:...but juice em and bung in wheatgrass and I am all over it. As for the loss of vits coz of blitzing them......a small amount of loss is outweighed by the benefits (in my case). I tend to use frozen veg (proven to contain all the goodness of fresh) just coz it's easier. Also....dates (urge).... never ever get me to eat one, but to sweeten a smoothie.....oh yea

Great post

Found out about this year's ago and been fascinated ever since.

On a dvd called 'cancer, the forbidden cures'

£1 plus delivery on eBay

Most of its shocking stuff, what people are getting away with.

It is a MUST see.

So some old lady reckons her dad found a way to make the body heal itself.
My gran reckoned Elton John came into her room at nights and gave her cookery lessons. (True story)

Just cos someone says it doesn't make it true.

Their clinic is in Mexico as its outlawed only pharmaceutical cures, kemo, surgery etc allowed in America.
Work it out for yerself.
Each to their own.

4 weeks "dry" today chaps (y) my dad text me at weekend to see if i wanted to do dry January lol he didnt know id quit for good a bit earlier :ROFLMAO:
Started cleaning my garage out yesterday and found some empties id stashed away in buckets and back of shelves. Made me feel bloody angry if im honest.

Food industry has no financial or otherwise interest in health, and the health industry o_O controlled by the drug companies has certainly no interest in food or good health.
Most drugs are synthesized plant based so they can patent and sell at huge mark ups, many natural products that either open your mind or mend the body are outlawed for these reasons.

Good on you perhaps idea to keep a diary on how you feel right now and your findings for any week moments you may have crisis points when easy to waver.
Remember my mates split up and helping his mrs move out cans and bottles falling out of everywhere squirelled away quite insane looking in on it!!! Why he had nt got them away .
After bad break up he spiraled into more heavy drinking prescription drugs and street , was always sad seeing him often asking for bit of money.
Took a lot of ringing round and reminding mates how we all were yrs ago crazy times having fun, not his final years of addiction and misery to attend his funeral.
One by one they called me back agreeing and came along.
His only daughter was around 9 yrs when he died (overdose) was a very sad day but I'm glad we could show his family he had friends who outnumbered and cared long before the few junkies that were also huddled in that crematorium.
Hope you stick with plan and move forward.

Ive had a couple of moments where my temper was going to get the better of me over silly things. Plus my diet all over the place but from what ive been reading up its going to take at least 6 months for all the toxins to get out and stomach etc to start to settle down?? Im taking every day as it comes and still not gone back to work yet but im in no hurry. Getting stuff done at home which id struggle to find time for if id be back at work

Spot on @Marshy .........I know f**k all about alcoholism, but I do know that man is a determined bugger if he wants to be......keep it up, the reward is......life!(y)

Been there. Stopped 4 years ago almost. People ask me why I don't drink, I say because I don't want to be the father that I had. Tried stopping on my own will, dry drunk we call it, lasted 2 years but was miserable. Go to AA and follow exactly what they say, do the programme even if it seems like bollox. You can't just snap out of it, hardly anyone can do it on their own, you'll find loads of blokes in AA all in the same boat and it's a good laugh. It could literally save your life.... It saved mine and very happy now.

Same here brother, 3 years sober but couldn't do it with out a program!

I'm doing very well without a program all be it early days just over a month but I'm not tempted at all to go out and buy some alcohol and drink it all. I'm just getting used to and dealing with all the changes I'm having regard appetite, headaches, fatigue, bloating, strange dreams were I'm drinking again?? I've read a bit of what to expect when you quit drinking and it would seem 78 toxins are released for your body to deal with and will take me 6 months at least to start feeling "normal" again?? What is your reason for quitting if you don't mind me asking? plus any tips or advice would be a big help to me. (y)

I'll PM mate

Ok good point I suppose if we talk about it on here it could help more people! I stopped for more than one reason. Drinking stopped being fun and led to fights/police/other substances etc, i would make rules on where/what/when I could drink but couldn't keep to it, my Dad is an alcoholic who started as a heavy drinker and now has lost everything including his mind and i was heading down the same path. Theres a lot more messed up stuff in my journey but not wanting to share about it on here!

The biggest thing to remember is not to compare your drinking to others, wether you drink 5 or 100 pints if you want to stop but cannot or can stop for a while then end up back drinking when you truly don't want to you are probably an alcoholic.

You need to squash the idea in your head that an alcoholic is someone who drinks everyday on a park bench because thats not always true! Alcoholism is a progressive illness that never gets better only worse so why wait until you lose everything?

I couldn't socialise without a few beers in me and would be quiet/anxious. Now I have no problems socialising.

I was a binge drinker. I could stop for months at a time but would always end up drunk somewhere thinking how the f**k did this happen again?

I needed to follow a program because stopping drinking is only the first hurdle, its staying stopped and dealing with the reasons you drank heavily in the first place without just blocking it with alcohol. Everyones story is different and mine might not be the same as yours but if you go to meetings there will be someone there who has identical problems/reasons for drinking.

There is such thing as a dry drunk which is someone who isn't drinking but not following a program so still has an alcoholic mind. For example they are still restless, irritable, discontented, angry, aggressive etc.

It is the only thing that has worked for me to stay stopped for a long period and the only requirement for membership is a desire to stop drinking so what you got to lose?? lol

Cheers for that mate I appreciate it. I'm so busy at work then when I get home to as not long moved house and every room needs doing so I don't have the time to even think about drinking. I'm managing fine at the mo and if that changes then i'l seek therapy in some form or another. my first go at it wasnt very good as I got wound up listening to the others who just sat at home all day drinking while on benefits and couldn't be arsed working. I wanted to hit them all and made it clear I wasn't happy or wanting to talk to anybody
