We have the hot potato “how to ....RSJ”. Well I couldn’t do it the usual way with the hilti gun , the rsj were slightly twisted and all it did was breaking the boards, so had to approach it differently . Another way if you are stuck.

Sorry for being a thicko, can you explain what you've done there please mate?
Fixed batons in the rsj, boards screwed to the batons. Fix the angle to the batons over the existing board and this will give you fixing point for the underneath board, usually I use my hilti to nail it , but here we have 2 rsj joint together and were twisted slightly. The gap between didn’t help to render strait on , so this is one of the ways I do it. It also allows you to level it .
