Facia board

Putting some new pvc facia onto new spar feet but I'm not having soffits would it be ok to leave a ventilation gap underneath say 10mm or use the facia vents that sit on top cheers

Either one is acceptable, it just comes down to which looks best. As long as the air can circulate it's all good.
