Can you just use a spat and sponge when finishing OCR? no float.

If it was for tiling on to you could just close it with a trowel after floating !! as sponging would leave a sandy face (loose )

Ouch. I section then sponge is only good for fine textured acrylic topcoats. Not pretty enough for just paint

Thanks. I floated it then used medium sponge float from Refina, looks fantastic!

Try I sectioning a little panel sponge float it spat it then use a car sponge or whatever to sponge it and tell us how it looks

Well steve i agree its not too cold yet in the midlands but not exactly rendering weather, so when people call for a plasterer in Wolverhampton at least i won't have to work outside lol :RpS_thumbup:

Perhaps you should render when its frosty, that way when its fooked you can blame it on the frost instead of being totally fukin useless.
