that got your attention.
The realisation that I may be living in a time warp on a different dimension to the rest of the world became apparent to me today when, whilst browsing tools upon the intranets , i found myself looking at 110v transformers. I'm currently and have been using for many many years an old ,and from what i now see, a vintage metal cased transformer.Search and search as i may i only spotted 1 other on the net in some old codgers workshop. The only new metal cased ones are to supply the constant draw of heaters.
So am i feckin old school or what.
Anybody got a metal one in the garage, or seen one lately? should my tools be getting evaluated by David Dickinson or starring on the antiques roadshow?

I'm so old school I make my own tool boxes, cobbled together another prototype this morning from an offcut of ply from a job. labour cost= 1 hour of my time, materials=left overs :RpS_biggrin: and also it's my way of recycling
