do i need to use heat resistant plaster on a wall behind a log burning fire, it's been boarded with fire board, can i get away with regular gypsum plaster?
i do not think that gypsum plaster will last very long. i have used fireboard and tiled direct onto the board without a problem. but a log burner can throw out a lot of heat so a heat resistant plaster would be a better option..
