in situ cornice corners

hi guys,

right, i have never done in situ cornice work before and not sure i ever will, but if someone can explain to me how you form corners i might just give it a go. i've watched videos on youtube and they show the straights being run but stop short of the corners.

where's kirk when you need him!?
 
you will need a couple of joint rules and a very small pointing trowel or leaf tool.
you just form the shape of the cornice into the corner with stiffish finish and work at it until it looks right , practice makes perfect . GOOD LUCK
 
cheers, i was watching that earlier but must of switched off when it go to that bit... cant i just caulk it? ;)
 
I was only jokin bout the caulk before anyone starts yee har ing at me!

Cheers for that fellas, and what mix do you use? Any ideas on suppliers?

just get some pre made stuff and fix it up like coving ;)
