Spall

Never heard of or done spall. Went look at job in edinburgh today.
It looks like its sprayed on cement n brush finished. Can kick masel for no takin a pic noo. Its only about 2mm thick coated over the top of original roughcast.
Has anyone ever seen or done it

Cement wash?...a cement slurry brushed over dash/cast....never done it ..seen it and it looks shitt tbh

Spalling is usually a description of something that's f**k*d and this sounds like a bodge

Cool thought It was a slurry wash. Yh it looks s**t.
They had the whole house done at some point.
A would of done a slurry,just making sure. Needn to buy few gd brushes then.

a london decorating com sprayed a local stone dash property with rend aid, to make sure that no stone was loose, then sprayed it with external paint, it does look a good job.

But guy wants it to match existing. And they have a budget.
A will mix a slurry n brush it on. A bet a shoots gun would do the trick to.

i hope that you are on day work. i would not consider brushing it on.
