Hi all
I have a quote to put out to skim a couple of rooms. Some of the angles are 135 (nice decorative corners!) Any of you guys got any tips/tricks or can tell me of any stockists of splayed angle bead, I can only seem to find suppliers on the net

If its on boardwork I stapel them on if its on old plaster I use clout nails and if its just being a basket I use bonding and cement...lol

Failing that swear a lot until your labourer comes along and does it first time.... b"£$%%d!!!

nope I havent actually,

Its common practice on site to staple them.

I might see if the staples are non rusting

Thanks

Danny

as all i use the skim stop beads and clout nails also.

bit of a pain if the walls not flatish to start with but doesnt look to bad once its all skimed up.

Encon insulation sell the 135 degree beads but its more common to use the 3mm skim stop bead. However we have found its good practise to scrim the angle before you put the bead on as they are prone to cracking otherwise.
