Heres a top tip.... When a customer or builder says come and quote a job and when you get there he says after this job theres another one i want you to do. ie dangling the carrot, here's what you do..........
Pull down yer kecks and say' kiss my @%$* ' !!!

Actually a real tip to use in this situation is to say -

Ok I'll tell you what, I'll price this one at my normal rate and if you want me to do the other larger job I'll give you a disscount on that one.


This actually happened to me once and the other job was a full house to re-skim, it still worked out ok though.
