Hi folks. I've got a question about if nails will stain through krender. Im building an extension and I've got a guy to come and krend it. I said I would cement board the dormers for him to render over.
I initially used stainless screws but found it was a fine line between them holding or pulling through the board. I decided to crack on with it today but bought some galvanized nails to try instead.
I found that they held the board alot better, so I got stuck into it and boarded 3 of the dormers, on closer inspection i noticed that the galvanizing was chipping off the nails. I just wanted to know if this would be a problem in regards to stain coming through the render from them corroding or am I overthinking it? Thanks in advance
