Yeh I think you have to use three of their products on the one job but you can always lie and say it was their board or their scrim I don't think they will know. But I suppose if you got to the final and someone was to say something it could lose you the £100,000 so probably better off using another job.

@flynnyman I would never make the final so my Mrs says
And the 100k, I can earn that in a week, I usually slap a pallet load of finish on by 6am as first hit then followed by 2 or 3 same size depends on what I had for breakfast and I'm home by 11am after that I just check the bank balance and raving about meself of factbook.

Not sure if this is still going?. Scud Scratch coat x2, wet dash, bands, napped plinth.

Hiya Danny,

#BGSmoothie this is my entry :)
200 year old house in Prenton, Wirral.
Water damage from a leak in the bathroom.
As you can see from the pictures the stone work is amazing but the old breast wall was a right mess! took me two days and a lot of care on this one.
I brushed all the old bricks and blocks down then wet them with a 50/50 PVA & Water mix.
I then applied a base coat of good ole sand and cement and put a scratch effect into it and left it for a day.
I beaded the sides with thin coat angle beads and across the top of the stone work with a thin coat stop bead, I then applied a 50/50 bond and multi mix (so that it would bulk out 'but not too much') then a further coat of multi finish.
I used a Marshall Town trowel for putting on and flattening, then to finish I did two wet plastic troweling's leaving it shiny enough to see your face in :)

Thank you,

Berni :)

@BritishGypsum this is my entry for #BGSmoothie
The bonding, multi finish and scrim tape used were all manufactured by your good selves :)

(Also I didn't mention that I PVA'd the render before putting a mix on top of it :) Thanks)

Did this fireplace a few weeks back. Just seen it dry. We'll chuffed. Used multifinish from British gypsum.
