Another forum regular has been stung by a clown that has come from the forum. Maybe not a regular poster but still a forum member.
Would it make sense to have a trusted member contractor list for, at least, other plasterers that need help? Could make sense to make one for the public too.
I think in some respects it's bringing the forum reputation down because a lot think that most forum users are experts and are all going to be reliable and leave good work. Definitely not the case.

Me and @Danny have spoke at length about me travelling round the country assessing people and they could put me up at their houses but discussions just came to a sudden halt :)

To be honest I'm not sure about you flynny.
Someone so opinionated that has a hugely inflated opinion of himself and can only offer criticism and not advice has a ring of insecurity to me. NEXT!

All the questions that get asked I've answered before so don't bother anymore unless you get stuck ;) I only criticise when others are blowing smoke and afraid to get kicked out of the click :) I ask questions I feel others are to scared to ask which you may think is criticism, the problem with honesty is it doesn't really exist anymore because everyone lives in a Facebook world with a like button looking for approval. My honesty is looked on as negative or critical because honesty is now looked on as being a hater, jealous, negative, unfair, nasty but it's only honesty, bring back honesty I say. Just to add I also don't think some people get my humour even though they find it funny :)

You're alright by me flynny marra. Honesty is the best policy. I'm no better :rico:

I don't know about the UK but in Ireland anyway in the countryside people would't get a tradesman they did'nt know or haven't seen his work or been recommended by their family or friends.Everyone has their own area and builders that keeps them going.Down my road there's three houses in a row belonging to the same family. The first one my father did before I was born, the second he did while I was going through hell working for him and learning. The third I did shortly after he died.Thats the way it works out in the bog.

Yeah flynny it was hilarious when you threw a wobbler at Ryan, calling him all the names under the sun over a trowel your not fond off.
The same trowel you piped on about for 6 months prior every time Nela s*p*r*lex was mentioned, when your trowel wasn't even the same one.

It was funny also on Kitchys thread, when all he did was quote something you had said previously, you got on the defensive & had a go at him for 'blaming' you for his predicament.
He had done nothing of the sort.

You are our very own Mario Balotelli, always whinging and whining, can't wait to have a go, and blame everyone else.

I've picked up loads of work off here and I've passed on a fair amount too. I've often thought it would be handy if we had some sort of geographical directory on here as I can't always remember who covers what area. For example I would happily pass on work to @Marshy and @SpankySouthport as they both did a great job of the work I passed on but they are from oop North. Anything past Bristol is a blur to me [emoji15]
