dont remember mentioning that I did anything, the original plasterer did it to save himself from having to replace the coving and pay to have the entire room redecorated....
please refer to the title of the thread....
many thanks..:RpS_wink:
let people form their own opinions, just read the title, then read the replies from yourself and bubbles - as ever helpful and constructive comments
bye now.
hmmm, funny how the title made a couple of the people who made unhelpful comments on the original thread reply...comments from 1 person who accused me of insurance fraud without any basis and another who said there was nothing wrong with the way the ceiling had been done.... yeah very helpful...

thanks for the replies, constructive and not.. not much more can be said i suppose.

no, it wasnt visible until repainted then its obvious....when the light catches it.
I will try and get pictures tomorrow, they just come out as a blank white screen, although that said the camera I am using is only a phone camera so not the best...
if the boards and scrim ahvent been applied correctly which are menat to strengthen the joints then obviously thats the fault of the plasterer, your statement seems a litltle odd to me again?
The joists are at 450 centres and are 9x2 timbers
