Not that simple on every job, I’ve had some where it’s been 30/40mm around the Harris’s when you reverse the rules, just end up slumping

There’s a case for both methods in my opinion, been on some listed buildings where walls were so bad if you put screeds up you’d end up spending days dubbing out!

I was taught to keep the rule as flat as possible to the wall to avoid taking too much off, fill out where it’s missed, rule again, piece of piss!
