Tyrolean over cement board

I'm building a timber frame garage cladded with lapped fibre cement board.

For the front I want it to match the house which is sand cement tyrolean painted white.
I'm thinking of fixing the board backwards so the smooth unpainted side is faced out and the apply sand cement tyrolean over it.
Do you think this will stick and be ok ?

Like s**t to a blanket . Ha ha

NO SAND AND CEMENT , I would just Tyrolean the planks with Weber HP12. No mesh or base coat as that would be impossible on cement board planks that are lapped!
