    Micro gobetis 3000

Believe it's a bonding agent mainly used for rendering but also used for plastering on high suction surfaces?

Heard a few talk about this as a replacement for Pva, just wondered if it's any good? And what's the texture like for applying etc?

Lime plastering newby - advice please

Hi lads, been plastering for over 10 years now but I'm not afraid to admit I'm one of the new age plasterers who's only used modern techniques (dot and dab, bonding, thistle skim etc). Starting next year I'll be doing some lime plastering at the father in laws rather large pad, and wondered if...

    Electrical socket surrounds?

Cleaning the sockets is all well and good, but if the socket is 2-3" sunk it's a bit of a job getting it perfectly shaped to the box so there's no gaps when face screwed back.

That's not to say my work isn't to a good standard but people have the perception all plasterers go in, blitz the place and walk out leaving it looking like a building site. Not me, can't work in a mess and leave it like...

Generally is say they work less, but because they have to do courses etc frequently in some trades they have to cover that. I'm not saying they are worth it as half the time the joiner/plumber/sparky leave work looking **** as WE cover it up for them and it saves them time. Time = money as we...

    Hi from Huddersfield!

Hi lads, new to the forum so thought I'd introduce myself. Been plastering 10 year now and still feel I've a lot to learn to be as good as I could be. That's not saying I don't know what I'm doing, just like to speak to/see how others ply their trade and usually there is something you can...
