I'm finding my s*p*r*lex sometimes creates ripples in the plaster.... A stripy like texture?...only occasionally tho?
Maybe getting on it too soon? When it happens I revert to the MT and problem goes away.....
any other ideas?
I'll be in your neck of the woods in a few weeks, maybe we could hook up and I'll show you my pictures of the super 6 trowel Caddy :RpS_biggrin:.......you could be my US distributor if you like.... :RpS_thumbsup:, could call it the 6 trowel trunk!
Its to got some serious fans on this site...
Negative GooseRider......Its black or nowt, there is an option for a painted cock and balls tho if you're interested.....seems to be a popular request!
Where are you buddy.....wouldn't like to offer any advice on what you may end up paying without seeing it as there are far more variables than what you've disclosed which need to be considered, location being just one....top floor of block of flats .....etc.....
important thing is to get the...
I know but, you know hat I meant.... ;-) that's all that counts.
Just to to clarify then....... Only in black but I can paint cock and balls for ya at a small premium!!!!
I know...... A proper spread wouldnt have one, need one or be seen dead with one......I know....... Would be happy to use a scabby bucket.....I know.... but as I stick boards to ceilings with insta stick......I suppose your saying is right!
Just remember this thread the next time you pass a...
cant see the homo erotic link......might be me
Can i put you down for a caddy then, got 2 on order already, with number 3 having a think you could be number 4.....:RpS_thumbup:
nothing I suppose........but with a caddy, there's no need......:RpS_thumbup:
Might mod the caddy up this week......gotta be room for the small tools somewhere :RpS_biggrin:
unsure why you've dragged the thread down to cock.....something missing in your life or what? Plenty of websites about to satisfy your obsession.......
FYI, I was working on sites 23 years ago..... worked with some old school cocks you'd probably get on with.....:RpS_thumbsup:
Come on...admit...
I agree, some will mock but all will probably wish they had one! Doesn't necessarily have to come out of the van.....especially if I'm working with others!
Been Put to use today tho and I gotta admit, I wish I'd made it earlier.....love my gadgets!
1. It's not a brief case......a brief case holds documents....this is a trowel caddy, it holds your trowels in a safe location whilst in transport.
2. Those trowels are worth say £300 in cash and Christ knows how much to me.....why throw your tools, which you rely on to pay the bills in a...
To prove I'm a proper spread (:RpS_wink:) , see pictures below of a trowel caddy I've just hacked together.....after I wrecked a 2nd refina plazzi in a matter of months last week.
Its holds my 14 inch MT, s*p*r*lex and Refina plazzi, a 13 inch MT, a MT midget and an 11 inch nela...
Update on the magnetic plaster saga.
Jobs done and lovely stuff to use. Used over existing walls, uni bonded, a nice thick first coat followed by a reasonable second coat, quick trowel and a cross trowel....Bobs your uncle, top job. I rs on I out on 4-5 mm going on the meterage and works a...
I wish I could see it......how do proper spreads cry? Does it create shock wave's.......? Do unibond add the tears from 'proper spreads' to make Super Strength PVA?????:flapper:
My god, I've been had by the 'proper spreads'...... Lol.
I know how to set a ceiling, my point was the nob of a customer wouldn't let me use screws, he insisted I used insta stick so I didn't do it..... It's his house, I'm on a day rate. Of course I explained there wouldn't be a problem but...
Wtf is your problem? The reason I posted this thread is exactly that, it's a F*****g stupid idea, an incase you haven't heard I didn't do it.
So go take your head for a sh1t, Throbber.
There's no question here, stupid or otherwise....just asking for insight into a product I've never seen before.
A stupid question would have been, can I stick plasterboard onto an existing, greasy artex ceiling with insta stick.....
Anyway, you've obviously never heard but there's no such...
If I was reading this I'd probably agree with you..... but I do get some strange customers.
Have I told you about the housewife who wandered about in a bikini and heels while a was doing a garage conversion..... in February :RpS_love: ?
As I'm on a day rate, the only other thing ready for me was a cupboard! Happy days, a day rate to skim up a cupboard!
Dont get get me wrong,if I wanted to I could have grabbed a bag of screws from the van and talked him into it but I'm on a day rate and he was so adamant he was supplying all...
Guys,
Got a steady job on at the moment, nice and comfortable room every couple of weeks style affair, customer supplying mats as he thinks it's saving him money......da da da. .
Anyway, all going well till I rock up and the guy hands me insta stick to bond new board over a large(ish)...
The thicker it is, the better it'll perform. I think the problem some have had is trying to spread it too thin....thinking it'll save money. I'm gonna put 2 bags on a 8m2 wall... Should give a decent amount of attraction!
Right, I beat the **** up in TP and got 4 bags ordered. So, @thebigfella any tips on laying this stuff? I see it says not to polish......so, just a case of laying on as flat as possible and a quick trowel or .......?
