the paint isn't flaky, i need 50 odd sheets of lathe and thats about £1000 on top of the price. if i could spend a few days and get the paint off, i'd rather do that.

I given an estimate, untill i've seen it tomorrow, i won't know how big or small the underfloor heating is. After getting a rough idea of materials, its around £2200 at the moment. So it may be a few quid more, or a few less.

i use them buckets. The only problem i get is the bucket trowel catches the handle of the bucket as you scoop it out. But if your using a board, then it don't really matter. Rubber buckets are ok, my mate wont use anything else, but i always find that it can be chucked up the wall if your not...

ive used a lot of lime too, but it only seems the Really old houses that have lime render. i've lost count of the old crappy black lime walls ive re rendered and skimmed. The people only took there wall paper off, and the wall fell off. I've also found a lot of people want a new stud wall built...
