Fibre reinforced Rasolite base coat is designed for over old solid render application, so yes, you can use it over existing solid render. It is not stocked in Scotland just yet. I'd suggest contacting @Plasterers1StopShop as they got some good delivery rate for Scotland on Rasolite.

That's correct, same for non painted dash. We are based in Liverpool and the closest Vimark stockist to Formby would be FS Trade, Liverpool, which holds Arenino VK2 and Vimarlatex in stock. You might consider making a test panel, so you could see the Arenino VK2 sponged finish as well.

As you mentioned that dips that are <1mm and you can't see them unless the sun is in a certain position I would just consider leaving it as it is as the first option. Certainly I would not advise to filling it in, as it would likely making it worst. The second option would be just to overcoat...

Hi @basset, there is specific tyrolean render called Vimark Strolatto, max grain size 5mm which we do not stock as not many requests. I've been also told that Monochrome was used with tyrolean application as well.

I agree with earlier advise that impermeable sand and cement need to be removed first in order to avoid moisture build up in solid walls. If you do not want to insulate, breathable Vimark's Monochrome could be a reasonable solution...

Hi Mate, what Vimark material are you considering applying? Sure you can apply Vimark's Areninio VK2 over base coat with sponged finish. Arenino VK2 is available in stock with the next day delivery in white and off white colour.

Hello @duke163, expected consumption is 7m2 from one bag of Arenino VK2 applied at 3mm thickness, so it should be about £2 per m2 ex VAT and delivery in white colour and £2.86 per m2 in off-white colour. White and Off white Areninio VK2 colours are available with the next day delivery.

Hi @Vincey, fiber reinforced Rasolite is ideal over old solid plaster or render patching applications. If you would need application over the brickwork, a cheaper material, fiber reinforced Monochrome grey would be a preferred option.

Hello @Vincey, that's correct, fiber reinforced, highly breathable Rasolite is very popular in Italy for internal repairs of older homes, including larger areas dubbing out. Rasolite could be applied from 3mm to 30mm thickness and comes in a nice off white, lime colour.
