Fibre reinforced Vimark's Rasolite is one of the best over the old render base coats available on the market. It is competitively priced at about £11 ex VAT per 25kg bag and available from one of the Vimark stockist. The closest to Peterborough would be @Plasterers1StopShop

I'm often surprised with the amount of people who buy 'hybrid' systems.

Most people don't get specifications on systems etc so a warranty isn't always valid. They know what works for them and use a mix - often makes it very cost effective

Hi @craigEEE, sure I would recommend using full Vimark render specification, no surprise here, lol Especially Vimark render offers great fibre reinforced silane-acrylic thin coat COLOR.VK in three grain sizes 1.0mm, 1.2mm and 1.5mm. Also it would be fair to say it is not a crime mixing best materials from different leading brands, while it could invalidate 10 years manufacturer quality guarantee. Fibre reinforced COLOR.VK1.2 project example:
