    agree but the quality control on bulk bags of sand compared to pre bagged renders is night and day. never had issues with smaller pre bagged sand though

    cant see it? you think anybody with a bit of experience can't see that the left window reveal is bent top to bottom like a banana? If you think a few weeks/months course will have you producing pro work you're in for a shock

    no offense mate but work on on improving your skills before you focus on money. A paying customer wouldn't accept that, at least one that knows anything. maybe try get some work subbing and learn some more

    Silicone render basecoat

    Sure have. Always discuss with the customers. A landlord might want low maintenance but cheap as possible and I'm not compromising on my income so I'll use something like Fassa MS 20. Weber OCR once but i like fassa more. I mesh everything no matter what, its great stuff and I don't see it...

    I usually avoid rendering this time of year but weathers seems mild and customer accepts risk. So anybody give me tips or point me in the right direction with accelerators? I have used Calcium chloride flakes before, will this work with Johnstones base coat ? what would you advise for the 1.5...
