So site work rates are on the up! Was offered £22m2 last week for Mono but i dont have a machine so i think better for me to stick to domestic work for now i think! The only thing i hate about domestics is the masking up and the clean up
Going to be using this in couple of weeks going over insulation board! As ive never used it before is it better to do one pass inbed mesh then leave overnight then 2nd pass the next day! Or get both passes on same day and finish useing accelerator. Any advice would be appreciated thanks.
Just wondering what everyone thinks is £75 a metre for parex supply and fit with an easy hack off a fair price? Only just put my prices up don’t gotta say there is some people just after work for nothing! Came to the conclusion it’s just not worth the hassle if your not getting the proper coin...
I’m looking to buy a euromair compact pro 25, has anybody used or got one of these that could let me know if there any good? I mainly do domestic work. Cheers
Just wondering is mesh needed over concrete block walls when using mono? Personally I always base coat with mesh then top, but have seen a few lads just spray one coat on or spray a slurry on 1st then inbed mesh then go straight over with another coat. I’ve done a one coat once a few years ago...
Was on rated a couple of years back but ended up leaving because of timewaster customers who want work done for few! Went and Joined again a few weeks ago and it seems nothing has changed just full of tight arsed time wasters and bogus leads!! Stay clear....
What’s the best base coat to use over fibrofan 30mm board, when applying parex ehi?? Been using hp12 with no issues only it skins up quick but hey it sets like granit..
I've never sprayed/applied mono straight over brickwork or block without base coat and meshing it first, but i have seen alot of lads doing this. What's your opinions on this ? Is this good practise? Or is there a risk that all the mortar joints will show through.
Just wondering if anyone else on here does this? And what products you use. Done it a few times as I think thin coat looks s**te. Always use 10mm beads and accelerator as it can bubble. Never had any issues. What does anyone think good practice or a no No?
