yer all ways put it on at about 5mm 6mm never on demestic always two coat every thing but on site if boards are really good then yer we have done it not all the time mind you but always looks good and lets face it lads with the price on some sites some time you need that little edge and never had a come back but like i said never on demestic work its just not worth it always two coat

If I told you that our local collage teach apprents to skim by using 1 coat I couldn't believe it when I went to an open day . No wonder there's so many cow boys around because this is the way they are taught . Bring back s-c in collage and learn the proper way

we have got a lad at collage at the min just finished his first year and he has been taught two coats but know all the teachers there as worked with a few of them over the years before thay got lazzy and went in to teaching must just be your collage or maybe there are other ones that do the same thing but thay do just teach the basics now a days the real leaning starts when you leave and am still learning every day it just never stops allways see some one doing it a diffrent way and think i will try that next time some time it works sometimes it dont but hay its all fun ;D
