For airless plaster I tend to use the usg Sheetrock beads or trimtex plastic beads as I want it as tight as possible.
Yes the tape beads are about a mm, used them once on an off 90 external angle as it was all I had and didn't fancŷ the trip to the merchants for 1 stop bead,I only wanted about two foot of it.
If you don't mind danny why do you need a bead of that depth?
pmslfor something ....lol shhhhh its a secret
I think its a great thing and everyone I have consulted on it agrees... but not saying anything else till later

You on about using that really wet coat of easi fill and then using a plasterboard rasp to shave the lines off after?
Ooo! danny you seem to be very cryptic of late, secret beads,gŷpsum or not based plasters, what new material did you use in ManchesterI think its a great thing and everyone I have consulted on it agrees... but not saying anything else till later

There's no strength in that I'm afraid. The Sheetrock beads stand off a couple of millimetres and are very strong. If you want a tape as opposed to a bead, try Level line from Belmore Tools, as that is quite shallow too.https://m.screwfix.com/p/no-nonsense-plasterers-corner-bead-tape-silver-aluminium-50mm-x-30m/45720
