3 coat skimming with a plastic float

I was taught trowel, float , trowel,I still do it from time to time, or I sometimes two coat with the float first coat , trowel 2nd coat

Use the plastic trowels for rubbing up buckets coats better than the old plastic floats. It's a good way to cover artex if it's not a stipple finish.

I was Taught Trowel Float trowel, used it on a bad ceiling a few years ago, finnished with a Nela s*p*r*lex before it fell apart. Came out Mint, just took all day to do a Ceiling.
