Sorry to be a knob like but isn't hard/solid the same thing...

What flynny said is bang on for a plastering position, although not to dumb down your extensive experience down etc but why don't you have 2 separate CVs one for Plastering position and another for managing/supervisory role..

there shouldn't be but there is such thing as being over qualified on paper.

£11ph with nuclear experience!!! Cheeky fckers!!!

will keep an eye out for you bud as I'm only over the water in sunny southport :)

id elaborate on what aspects of plastering you are experienced in, same as aspects of rendering etc.Sell your self etc.

Mate some of the ads your sending your CV to are asking for spreads with cards van tools etc, tailor your CV to suit what each firm wants. They're prob looking at your CV and thinking this blokes started loads of firms whats to stop him starting another and poaching our blokes and contacts !!

Your obviously not to fussed about moving around as you've done loads of traveling, can you not relocate to where theres more work and continue running your own firm ?

Great CV, but if you're just looking to be on the tools then I would suggest leaving out that lot in red because most of the people in a position to look at it will be thinking ''Fk that, he's better qualified than me, probably be after my job in no time"
As said above you can tailor it to suit if a supervisory role was offered to you. Best wishes for you anyhow marra :RpS_thumbup:

most of the travelling was pre having kids so not really wanting to up sticks unless the dream job was offered.

I looked at it for 3 seconds.

The opening paragraph put me off...I don't want to know you built a business from scratch why is it not still running?

Scanned down to this: 'Established successful plastering business' why do I need to know this? Was it really that successful?
