It's beautiful!! I hope you don't mind me asking but what's the different between Sagliola and Venation plaster??

The difference between scagliola and Venetian are vast ,scagliola uses 8 different ingredients ( for walls) and nine for floors they include 3 to dust Luca marble mixed with animal glue ,Carrara marble , pigment, densiifiers, liquifiers, selenite and casting plaster. Done correctly the only way you can tell it's not marble is by touching it - it's warmer to the touch and the colours , you won't find most of the colours in nature.

For columns scagliola is put on about 3 to 5mm thick on floors you need a minimum of 12.5mm for low traffic area's and 25mm for a public building medium usage

Thank you ever so much for summing up the different between Scagliola and Venetian plaster for us. Ones again it looks brilliant!!!

@essexandy go back to rendering section and stay there!

Now why would I do that? I'm an old school all round spread that takes on rendering, pargetting, wet plastering, direct bond, tacking, coving, fitting cornice, running in situ and screeding. Be a bit strange just stuck in the render section.

lol you focused in me to get flak from you rather than stoke's great work

Yeah that was wrong of me, I mean you're a useless tool that deserves telling but his work was very good and should have come first.

You admit stoke's work is better than you!

Well I certainly can't do that finish.................................at the moment.
I am probably going to be doing some Venetian work before to long though.
