why not plaster all the board if its there ? chippies will love you for it , and as they are on the job before us , good chance you will get reconmended by them , just imo[/QUOTE
I do have to say the chippies on site are useless. left packers hanging out off all door frames buy at least an inch that we cut off.All door frames had to be built out and having at least an inch gap all the way round the frames for us to try and fix for them. The was no more than an inch from the floor on most walls and it was feathered in lovely for the chippies to apply skirting. The one bit that looks like 2 odd inches was because it was a bit of steel and the boarding guys had cut round it so i didnt see the need to try and skim it. What Scottie has to deal with on a day to day basis with crappy board work. screws hanging out everywhere etc etc. I think the man deserves a medal

How college teach you and how things work in the real world are two different things.
yeah but you can have best of both worlds - the technical side from college and the experience of working with different plasterers, and their different ways of working - both solid plasterers and fibre hands :RpS_thumbsup: that's how experience is gained
i dont think so , id say at least 90% of experience is gained from on site, college and forums is just hit and hope
