Matey just turned up from manchester to deliver the monojet I bought off ebay. In the ad it say's its a 2005 model but when he opened the boot the thing was a rusting pile and looked like it had had a very hard life, also the chassis number had been smashed out with a screwdriver or similar.

I dont know anything about machines but could tell from the way the hopper was half full of rockhard gear and the amount of rust on the thing that this machine would have caused problems.

I told him to load up and f**k off.

Not impressed

Some real con artist operate out of certain auction sites , sorry to hear you had a bad experience rich, why not try an already established dealer , at least you will get assurances , back up, and maybe some training in it's use cost you a few quid more but at least you will be able to sleep at night :)

If it was nicked be nice to know if any one has had one go could set this mug set right up, but thinking about it i suppose you blokes have these machines insured for theft so if it goes it dont matter.

al i will say is the one chris is selling is a good deal and comes with everything you need. Someone who is just selling a machine on its own, then you have to ask why, where are the hoses, guns, cleaning kit, genny. if they dont have this or its not included then theres something dodgy. The best advice i can give you is treat buying a machine like buying a van, you want to see it running and try it out. It takes 10 mins to set the machine up to show you how it works etc. If i was you Rich i would buy Mono's setup. the machine came from les and has all the kit and its CHEAP

He has just sent me a text offering it to me for £1000 cash. no thanks
Thing is some one is going to get duped into buying that, then they need to get it serviced ,cleaned up, buy a genny etc going to be costly. You need to take some one along with you who knows machines or buy from a reputable dealer, they are a financial commitment just as a car is. Execpt they make you money instead of losing it like a vehicle. ( this isnt a plug for my machine btw just an opinion)

wow, the machine in the pics looked clean enough. makes my mp25 for £800 look like a tidy little purchase.
