ive just started an old mill conversion up in halifax and this plaster plus were the ones there before us and the plastering is shockin, you can climb up the F*****g walls.
 
just thought id up date u lads . we met some guy today called peter, contracts manager or sumet. there is a retainer of 3% paid back the last payday in each month. ther is a 12% holiday pay they take out if we request them to. but thats optional. there is no citb contribution. and then we payb our regular cis 20%. so its not that bad. oh and its a week in hand. payed into bank. aweek friday. thats if they pay us. i will jst have to see with that i gues
 
yeah the holiday pay is another money saver for the firms they bull you by saying its coming out your price but most of the firms never pay anyone holiday pay anyway

If you havent got public liability they will get it for you did they mention that? two payments. Have you found out the prices and what are you doing i know you mentioned in a previous sentence but cant be arsed lookin also where are you workin for them?

thats because most of the lads that work for them are chancers or patchers - the ones that will work for sh1t money

lol got public liability for 5mil. gave them my policy docs today. Yeah prices £6.50 float and skim £4.50 for dab or board and skim and £5 m for board and skim a sloping ceiling goes up to 3.4 m so payed for the hight. its 5 days work for the 2 of us could do in 4 but we said 5 just in case. works out at £1837 he said that there is £25 diesle in that but we havnt meaured. we in middlewich mate 30 mile from me. not that bad between 2 of us in week.. but not sure if he got more on

ouija boards are a load of b*ll***s. its all the other stuff that scares the shi t out of me. anyone been down edinburgh vaults?
 
No but finished a house last month where the guy hung himself. Was told that he didnt do it in the house but loads of strange noises. One day I even f**ked off early coz I got freaked out hearin noises downstairs and when I went down to look heard them upstairs!.
Went back yesterday to price other work and was told he did hang himself in the house after all on the landing! :o
 
my birds foster mum found her son hanging in his wardrobe, which was the missus's old room before she moved in with me.

she sleep walks too so shes very wide eyed if anyones familiar ...............very scary when she wakes you up and shes 6 inches from your face eyeballing you ;D
 
my nephew was at the top of the stairs chatting to someone and my sister said who are you talking to jack and he pointed at the wall and said 'the lady'.......... :-\
 
stuff like that freaks me out a treat. my brother in law was in his student house at uni, watching telly in his room. heard a door close and kitchen cupboards open and clattering, assumed it was his house mates, went down and no one was there and hadnt been near the house all day. i'd fuc king die if that was me
 
yep out the door in the van and drive ;D..............imagine having to go back so you could go to bed :o
 
Theres always a logical explaination for every thing a few years ago when we were living in our old house my little one pointed at a glass paneled door we had in our house and said "man" as his vocabilary skills were limited then as we looked round it looked like some one was in our house so i ran out to the hall way and there wasnt any one there ran upstairs still no one there freaked me right out then sussed on it was a coat fell and a bit of light trickery ;)
 
I know a fair bit on the subject as I had to do alot of research for 6th sense ;D
My Gran (Irish ) used to tell stories of the Banshee. If you hear a sound like a fox crying which is the worst sound ever ,its like a baby crying, that she would say is a banshhee singing. They sit outside your window combing their hair singing and if you look they'll turn you to stone. The next day theres always a comb in the gutter ! :o
 
Nah its story's made up to scare kids there ain't no such thing as ghosts did you know that the Ouija board was invented to see what was going on in your subconscious.
 
i know ouiji boards are controlled by your subconcious. didnt know thats what they were originally for. i dont help myself when i go to places like the edinburgh vaults?
 
my mum did one and it scared the s**t out of her, apparently it spelt a name and to this day she wont tell me............. ive been with her when shes been pissed up and she still wont have none of it
whats at edinburough steve ?
