In a world of my own today cutting plasterboard when a magpie landed on my head and pecked my ear, s**t my pants slightly and shooed it away. It came back and landed on a piece I was cutting. Turns out and elderly resident kept it in his house as a pet , when the old boy passed away the bird just minces around the neighbourhood bothering plasterers.
A Tame magpie

the magpie has been imprinted on humans. this is a problem when the human passes on.
our parrots greet us with whistles and their talking when ever we pass by their cages. they spend time out every day but when either of us are in their room they want to have contact with us. as they were hand reared they have been imprinted that they should be with us and not their own kind.

Magpies are part of the crow family. Very intelligent birds. Cleverer than dogs.

They can talk, as well. You'll probably have some bad luck, now. You know, one for sorrow and all that. I used to watch magpie when I was a kid.

Feel bad that I shooed him away now when it's seems he was just being friendly, that said I'm back there tomorrow, will say hello

I have had parrots as a kid (my parents still got them) and they are a great pet to have :D Too noisy for me now though

My mate's Mrs has a parrot, he hates the f**k**g thing.! Always getting attacked.

He went out and brought a load of those battery-smelly-devices, he is hoping the bird will choke and drop dead.

No joy yet.!

all birds need quality air, fumes, teflon, will give them respiratory problems. we have air purifiers through out the house to try to keep the air clean.
