No but you got have faith in something or were fuked. The coronavirus is a worrying time and for the mental health of people and the affect it having on young people that are sitting ther exams ect . Turning the clock next week whether geting warmer hope this will go as quickly as it arrived as the old lady said time will tell

There's a reason it's been able to be controlled in China and that's because the government and military are not afraid to take drastic action. People have been isolated for months and not like over here in the west but proper military lock down that they can enforce. That will never happen over here

1) Be very careful about what you believe in the mainstream media.

2) Be very careful about what you hail as being a 'good thing'. There is a serious possibility that certain powerful people may (at some point in the future) deliberately point towards regimes like that as a supposed model of success (just like you are doing, above), and thereby try to use it as an example for the fear-porn-intoxicated masses, in order to push for a similar kind of rule here.

Like I said it will never happen over here in the west because people don't give a f**k and can't be forced to stay indoors only advised. This whole thread is about how China has controlled it but what has taken them 3 months more than likely will take us double

My point is that there is so much fearmongering in the tabloids, TV, etc., etc. It's a form of psychological trauma.

There are people who are so sucked into it all that they seem to feel compelled to re-post the same fearmongering on a plastering website, just in case forum members haven't fully drunk all the fear porn from the tabloids and telly.

THAT is embarrassing.
