Advice needed please

Hi first time here and looking for some knowledge.
This discoloration has appeared and when we painted the ceiling 2y ago it was clean no marks etc...
The house was built in 1900
and a terrace

Whole roof redone last year ,chimneys repointed flashing etc....
This is in the dining room so two floors above with no damp.

Water in the paint mightve reactivated some sort of old stain.

Use stainblocker such as Bloxxit and repain the ceiling
