was on the phone to halifax the other day as we are remortaging and they told us that there would not be any early redemption fees and we recorded the call and asked them numerous different ways to get clarity.... well we then get told we are being charged £4500 in ERC's... I kicked off and pointed out we recorded the call and they said it did not matter because we did not tell them we were recording it... 3 days I spent arguing with them...

they told me that their copies of the calls had been lost bla bla bla... they also said that the person that answered my questions they think was not qualified to give me that advice....

I did not back down by the way and they honoured it

Agree with what beddy just said in the past if someone has had a problem with my work or complaint if they don't let me go back to sort I think they are full of crap.
Most if they are genuine will want you to come back if they are for real.
