Personally hate the stuff for skimming, way too big grit.
Wickes Bonding Agent, Cementone or Parex Microgobetis are better IMO.

As said did a job recently , customer used blue shite. I had to give it a coat of bonding first. They had got it on the skirtings, coving, messy crap.
