Aero-Therm Interior energy reflective products

Yes we will earn from selling the product, applicators will get a reduced rate for coming through to the training, this will balance out over time. They will also be provided will a tool kit for the Aero-Therm range, information packs and selling aids.
The other idea of charging for training, is that applicators will be passed leads from us, also if they invest into the training they will be more pro-active in finding work
So are you the one and only authorized resellers on the UK?

So you will be doing all the marketing for your approved contractor ? i dont mean posting on Facebook ,or this forum

No, there will be a network of dealers of the product, myself in Cheltenham, our branch in Cornwall, GoldTrowel in Manchester and Aero-Therm themselves will have some direct accounts. I am launching it for ourself and building our range of applicators

No, advertising will need to be done themselves. Facebook, the forum and other websites and shows are all normal routes to market for applicators and home owners. Applicators will be provided with information packs and enough literature to chose their own way of marketing.

Applicators will also have to find their own work. We will be actively trying to generate leads and if we secure jobs ourselves or are approached for products or applicators we will be passing the leads on to the relevant applicators within the area.

Would you not be better to Franchise ?

I still need to see it to believe it that a 1mm coat of anything can be described as "insulating" or "thermal" of any description? ? I would love to see it mind and @RobJack invited round to have a nosey but not sure if the surrounding pubs are close enough??? o_O

Trialed something similar back in 2007. It' was basically towelling up polystyrene balls in a paste. Bit of a faff trying to rule it flat. Then skimmed it. Never heard of it since. Was deemed "The Future" like garlic bread

To be truthful with you mate I didn't believe it. When I first spoke to Aero-Therm I said didn't see how it could work and didn't believe it.

We arranged a meeting, they came to see me left samples and data-sheets. Needless to say I was proved wrong and was amazed with the product - Thats not just a sales pitch either to anyone who thinks it maybe.

Sure you know what Franchise means ,i,m not being funny ,but if you be leave in your product ,this might work better for you and the
contractor ,they have their area

We aren't the main dealer, Aero-Therm themselves are. We have it in our depot and in our Cornwall Franchise, it will also be in the other ones we are opening up soon.

I have been through the training and used the product myself. Very easy to use when you know how and is a nice product to work with

This sounds like a sales pitch to me :inocente: :birra:

Surely it can't absorb and reflect at the same time or is some ventilation system also involved??

If that is the case @flynnyman then would that not cause condensation??

This may help mate:

How does Aero-Therm reduce condensation and mould?

By absorbing heat Aero-Therm creates warm walls and eliminates temperature differentials between the wall surface and the air next to the wall. Warm moist air will no longer hit a cold wall and thus is less likely to condense on the wall. With less condensation comes less mould growth and a healthier environment. However, there is no substitute for ventilating a property. With Aero-Therm your property will heat back up quicker once you have opened a window to ventilate a room.

What is the dew point?

The dew point is the temperature at which moist air condenses and is a big issue on walls and ceilings of many properties. With Aero-Therm, approximately 20% of the absorbed energy is actually pushed into the wall thus moving the dew point from the surface further back into the wall – keeping condensation out of the room. The other 80% of the absorbed energy is reflected back into the room.

Will Aero-Therm rectify damp walls?

No. If walls are suffering from a damp problem then the cause must be identified and rectified before applying Aero-Therm. Aero-Therm must be applied to a sound, dry substrate.

What constitutes a damp wall?

We recommend that walls must have less than 5% moisture and have a temperature of over 10OC before applying Aero-Therm. Room humidity should also be less than 65%. We can recommend tools to enable you to measure this.

f**k me I didn't realise I had to swallow a dictionary aswell ffs

Just playing devils advocate but say someone gets a call for a small room. 40m2 for example. The materials alone would be about £1300. That's not including the labour which would be two days as it needs sanding down the next day. Specialist materials need specialist labour prices so in effect a very small room would cost well upwards of £2000.

It's not really rooms that are done. It's normally the full house. Otheriwse rooms which haven't been done are a cold bridge.

£45-£75 m2 is the going rate for this. We are currently pricing a job for 301m2 and as you expect the price is up there. This will be approximately 2-3 days work.

If this was an EWI system being done you have a lot more disturbances and cost is often higher

We use a paint called thermapaint which has microspheres of insulation in it and it's enough to increase the wall temperature by 1 degree

So you more selling it as an earner ? What back up is there and who guarantees the product ?

Not BBA - I believe it's being done. They have many other accreditations and they have a certified tested system in the leading testing centres in Europe.

There is no point putting it on thicker, it will just cost you more
