So has anyone used it yet ? Been on a course for it ( I use the term course very loosely )
Unbiased feedback ???
There's a difference in going on a course to learn something new like that or something like k rend or mono than going on a course to learn how to become a spread in 6 weeks from scratch..
There wasn't really a point just wen u put course term used loosely in brackets was just saying there's nowt wrong with going on a aero therme course etc flynnySorry I miss your point here ?
Im on a krend course in a few weeks....not going to do any I dont think but interesting to see how its done....its at the dreaded goldtrowel thoughThere's a difference in going on a course to learn something new like that or something like k rend or mono than going on a course to learn how to become a spread in 6 weeks from scratch..
I don't begrudge them kind of coursers if your competent at plastering its the learn how to plaster in 6 weeks that I'm not a fan of..a competent plasterer doing a k rend course or aero therm course etc is totally different..glad ur doing wellIm on a krend course in a few weeks....not going to do any I dont think but interesting to see how its done....its at the dreaded goldtrowel though

Ok, I was after feedback on this and how a first installation went.
Should get tv adverts out or sumat Ryan as I wudnt know about It If wasn't on hereI'm not sure how many jobs have been complete since the course - it won't set the world on fire straight away, people need to find out about it first.
I will let you know mate
He's selling it to you so you can sell it to Joe public so you do the marketing and advertising, doubt their marketing budget goes very far hence targeting tpf and plastererstalkgroup on slatebook. I did enquire about this just like gps, before that anyone who been on the course flogged any, but found deaf ears, only corporate bullshit answers out of the company's literature.Should get tv adverts out or sumat Ryan as I wudnt know about It If wasn't on here
The same can be said for magnetic, uni and a few other products, unless you heard it on here you won't hear it anywhere else, I could take over the marketing department and do better with no experience just common sense.
Maybe they could make a s**t video that seems to be the normUni finish is simple enough not to advertise as you say that aero therm is costly stuff getting national coverage on tv wud let people know about it as its a gud idea
They will put on a program like grand designs and folks will uh ah about it till they find out about costs and the little improvement it makes. I see it like it's dead as a dodo. Big developers won't using it due to cost, they only interested in high yields not on comfort feelUni finish is simple enough not to advertise as you say that aero therm is costly stuff getting national coverage on tv wud let people know about it as its a gud idea
I thought "the kiss" one was good tbhMaybe they could make a s**t video that seems to be the norm
Yeh but that was high budget and we had a good director on boardI thought "the kiss" one was good tbh
You saying it a load of b*ll***s !!! lolThey won't be advertising it on TV as advertising standards would mean that the claims made for it would have to be proven. That would mean they would have to admit that it only reduces radiated heat and does nothing for conducted heat. It would also mean that the often quoted 35% reduction in heating bills would have to stop as there's no independent verification of that figure.
In terms of insulation values, it's pretty much the same as cotton of the same thickness. i.e. it's bloody useless. People are impressed by it when they touch a wall as it feels warm to the touch. That's a combination of the radiation reflected from the room, and reflected back from your hand.
To get any new kind of product out there in plaster world has got to be one of the hardest things ,sod knows how much a t.v advert is it's got to be close to £1 million I recon, no new plaster product going to take off in less than say 5 -10 years in u.k .. British don't like change
7 years Keith, so it's been tested vigorouslyBe interesting to see just how long this product has been knocking around
Couple of hundred grand if you want to advertise on the discovery channel at midnight...for real, reasonably long coverage a million is to conservative.Dsnt cost a mill vince couple hundread grand is a tv ad.zolco is rite there want us to sell It for them
I didn't mean plasterers I ment the public. If is was good and wasn't so expensive it would take off. Not liking change has nothing to do with it here
