Airless plaster machine up-keep

Does anyone on here that’s using a airless plaster machine have problems with the gun going a little rusty?

we are putting it in a bucket of water each night to stop it blocking but it’s obviously going to rust.

an alternative would be much appreciated. Thanks

Could you not tape a bag over the gun instead of putting it in water?

Is it a cheap gun you’ve got? My gun gets left in water overnight when spraying, and is fine

No it’s a gracco gun that came with it. We are on our forth job with it so it’s been in water on and off for a good 6 month’s
