we got told guernsey was dear but we where geting £10 to £12 a m for float and skim labour only (working for G.H interiors). and we rented a holiday bungalow for £210 a week between 3 of us £70 aweek not bad considering what we were earning. plus the fishing is second to none

we wus no week in hand either jst paid a cheque evry friday dinner then off fishing or on the lash. he reckons he ot a hotel for us to skim in september so fingers crossed hey ;D

not a clue mate. the job we wus gna satrt monday the gable has fell down. that wus 2 mnths work knock of float and skim and mono out side. So we in limbo a bit at mo. sumet will cum up though

worked on the kodak tower for them last winter in hemel hemsted , good firm, good prices , bit iffy with retention tho. skimmed flats they held 50% retention until flats was completed.

Yea thats sounds wrong dnit. How can they charge subbys 50% retension. Wus you on suply. Cos i dnt fink im interested in them holding 50% back for labour only

was taking the piss, although price was around £4m2 labour only( dont know exactly as measurements worked out differently on different flats) , once you started getting retention in it was fine, to be honest tho every one we worked with left a top job, no one was gonna lose there retention , lol

I done a couple of show flats up there back in september i think ! There far to hot on health and saftey ,i had to climb under the fence to get in and went out via the window ,I aint got a spare day to f**k about with the induction and get a swipe card .All the flats are being jointed now !

we reckoned they had money probs when we worked there we finished the first block that someone had started it was rough as fek , but there was hardly any other trades there, the ones that were wasnt getting paid , anyway next block didnt start straight away but there was maybe 30 people in the office and hardly any one on site!

They seem to work in fits and starts all the time, one minute theres nothing going on and next there doing 8 flats a week , just before christmas they had spreads in doing night shifts (f**k knows why)!

spongebob who dun the rendering, if i remember right there was quite a bit would have been good !

Im not sure who done it ! was a bunch of foreigners and about 5 machines they were there before our lot took over so there only doing the internal
